Introduction These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Meals & More. By accessing or using the App, you agree to comply with these Terms.


Ratification of the Agreement

By entering, connecting, using, or creating an account on these mobile applications and its associated applications on iPhone, iPad, and Android (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Platform"), including without limitation to any services offered on the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the following Terms and Conditions (collectively the "Terms"), and you agree to be bound by them and to comply with all the applicable laws and regulations regarding your use of the Platform. You acknowledge that these Terms constitute a binding and enforceable legal contract between yourself (whether "Chef" or "Consumer" or “Deliveryman”) and Meals & More (hereinafter referred to as "Meals & More", "Company", "we", "us", "our") concerning the use of this Platform. Please read these terms before ordering or adding any items from/to our application.

You become a Consumer or Chef or Deliveryman of the Platform ("Consumer", "Chef", “Deliveryman “or "you"), by entering, using, browsing, or registering on the Platform. As a Consumer Chef or Deliveryman, you agree and undertake to comply with the provisions of these Terms.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the Platform. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Platform through your internet connection are aware of these Terms and that they comply with them. By viewing, using, accessing, browsing, or submitting any content or material on the Platform, you agree to these Terms as a binding legal agreement, without limitation or qualification. The term "you" or "You" shall include any person or entity, who views, uses, accesses, browses, or submits any content or material to the Platform.

If you do not agree to these Terms, then you may not use the Platform. Meals & More reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. You agree that each visit you make to the Platform shall be subject to the Terms as displayed, and your continued use of the Platform now or following the modifications in these Terms confirms that you have read, accepted, and agreed to be bound by such modifications.


Part 1: Terms and Conditions for Customers

1.    Registration and Account Creation

  • To order from Meals & More platform, you must first register and create an account.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and understand that your account is personal to you. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and ensuring they are not shared with others, including your password, and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Meals & More reserves the right to refuse or cancel any account in case of suspected fraudulent activity or violation of the terms and conditions.

2.    Using the Platform

  • By using the platform, you agree to comply with all terms and conditions set forth by Meals & More.

  • You may browse, search, and place orders from a variety of local chefs offering meals in your area, All orders are subject to acceptance by the Chef.
  • You acknowledge that Meals & More is merely a Marketplace facilitator and does not directly manage the food preparation process by chefs, Meals & More does not prepare the food and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or preparation of the meals. Meals & More does not guarantee the availability of any particular Chef or meal.
  • Information about Chefs and their menus is provided by the Chefs themselves. While Meals & More strives to ensure accuracy, we do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of this information. 
  • Meals & More strives to keep the Platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time for maintenance, upgrades, or other reasons, without notice.
  • Prohibited Activities: You agree not to

             -    Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
             -    Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.   
             -    Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Platform or the servers or networks connected to the Platform.   
             -    Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform or other user accounts.
             -    Use any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means to access the Platform.
             -    Violate any intellectual property rights of Meals & More or any third party.


3. Placing Orders and Delivery

  • Once you place an order on the platform, you will receive an acknowledgment from the platform, this confirmation does not constitute acceptance of the order by the Chef.

  • The Chef has the right to accept or reject your order. If the Chef accepts your order, you will receive a notification, If the Chef rejects your order, you will be notified.
  • Meals & More is responsible for the Delivery process and you will be contacted on Mobile by Meals & More deliveryman to confirm the address and your existence, it is your responsibility to be available to receive the order at the designated delivery location and time.
  • Delivery times provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside the control of Meals & More and the Chef, such as traffic, weather, and unforeseen circumstances. You will be notified of any significant delays.
  • You are responsible for ensuring the delivery address you provide is correct. Meals & More is not liable for any mis-deliveries caused by incorrect information provided during the ordering process.
  • If you experience any issues with your delivery (e.g., late delivery, missing items), please contact Meals & More customer support.


4. Order Cancellation

  • Cancellation by Customer (Before Chef Acceptance): You may cancel your order before it is accepted by the chef.

  • Cancellation by Chef: The Chef may cancel an order for various reasons, including but not limited to: unavailability of ingredients, unforeseen circumstances, or technical issues. If the Chef cancels your order, you will receive a notification.
  • Cancellation by Meals & More: Meals & More reserves the right to cancel orders in certain situations. If we cancel your order, you will receive a notification.

5. Incorrect Orders, Missing Items, or Defective Goods

  • If, upon receiving your order, you discover issues such as incorrect items, missing items, or defective goods, please contact our customer support team immediately via the in-app chat.

  • You may be required to provide photographic evidence or additional details to verify the issue with your order. If we confirm that the order or goods you received did not meet the expected standards of quality or accuracy, we will take appropriate steps to compensate you for the problem.

6.    Payment and Refunds

  • You agree to pay the price specified for the order, which includes the cost of the items, any applicable taxes, and delivery fees, as displayed on the platform at the time of order placement.

  • Cash on Delivery will be the main launch payment method, as online payments will be considered on the next platform releases. Refunds are only issued if there is an issue that is the responsibility of Meals & More or the chef, such as incorrect or incomplete orders.
  • For any disputes regarding your order, you should reach out to Meals & More’s customer support.

Part 2: Terms and Conditions for Chefs

1.    Registration and Profile Creation

  • To register as a chef at Meals & More, you must be legally authorized to prepare and serve food in Egypt.

  • As a chef, you must create an account on Meals & More by providing accurate and detailed information, including your legal name, contact details, business name (if applicable), details about your culinary services, menu items, pricing, and service area.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your account information and ensuring it remains up-to-date. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password) and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify Meals & More immediately of any unauthorized access.
  • Meals & More reserves the right to verify the information you provide. You agree to provide any documentation reasonably requested by Meals & More.
  • Meals & More may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms, customer complaints, food safety concerns, or inactivity.
  • For assistance with your profile or menu, contact Meals & More customer support.  

2.    Menu and Ingredient Disclosure

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your menu, including dish descriptions, ingredients, pricing, potential allergens, and preparation methods. Promptly update your menu to reflect any changes.

  • If you make any claims regarding your food (such as "organic," "gluten-free," or "nut-free"), you must ensure that these claims are accurate and can be substantiated with appropriate documentation.
  • You are responsible for the safe and hygienic preparation, handling, storage, and packaging of all food items. You must comply with all applicable food safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment.
  • You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary licenses and rights to all content you upload, including menu items, photos, and descriptions. You grant Meals & More a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use this content to promote your services and the platform.

3.    Packaging and Delivery

  • As a chef, you are responsible for packaging food in a way that ensures it remains fresh, safe for consumption, and maintains its quality during delivery.

  • You must carefully follow the Meals & More packaging guidelines, which provide advice on proper packaging techniques and selecting suitable containers. You can access these guidelines via the link shared with you on WhatsApp by Meals & More customer support.
  •  Packaging should be designed to prevent spillage, leakage, and contamination, ensuring that the food reaches consumers in optimal condition. Containers must be appropriate for the type of food being packaged (e.g., leak-proof for liquids, insulated for hot foods).
  • Consider using environmentally friendly and sustainable packaging materials whenever possible.
  • Meals & More reserves the right to update its packaging guidelines. You are responsible for staying informed of any changes.

4.    Food Quality and Service Standards

  • Before publishing your profile on the platform, you will be asked to provide meals that will be included in your menu to be taste-tested by our professionals.

  •  Chefs are expected to maintain consistently high standards of food preparation, hygiene, presentation, and customer service.
  • Meals & More expects chefs to provide meals that are consistent with their descriptions and photos on the platform and meet reasonable quality expectations of consumers.
  • Before publishing your profile on the platform, you will be required to provide samples of the meals you intend to include in your menu for taste testing by Meals & More professionals.
  •  Meals must meet the reasonable quality expectations of consumers. This includes taste, portion size, presentation, and overall satisfaction. Meals & More may use customer feedback, ratings, and reviews to assess quality.
  • Meals & More reserves the right to remove menu items from your profile if they do not meet quality or consistency standards or if there are repeated customer complaints.
  • Failure to meet these food quality and service standards may result in warnings, account suspension, or termination of your agreement with Meals & More.


5. Handling Complaints and Reviews

  • We will undergo an investigation with you If a consumer submits a complaint regarding the quality of your meal.

  • If the same chef receives two complaints from different consumers for the same issue, such as food quality or wrong ingredients, Meals & More reserves the right to suspend or deactivate the chef’s account immediately.
  • After each order, consumers will have the opportunity to leave a review and rate your service. You must take these reviews seriously as they can help improve your offerings and build consumer trust.
  • Meals & More will ensure to celebrate Top chefs with exceptional reviews by having their logos, videos & pictures prompted on platform banners.


6.Chef Commission Structure and Payment Policy

  • Promotional Commission-Free Period: Initially, for the first three (3) months of your partnership with Meals & More, you will not be charged any commission on your sales. This is a promotional period to allow you to establish your presence on the platform and build your customer base.

  • Sales Commission: After the initial Three(3) months, a commission of ten percent (10%) will be applied to all your sales. This commission will be capped at 2,000 EGP per order and will be deducted from your earnings before payment is processed.

    Payment Policy During Promotional Period: During the promotional period, your earnings will initially be sent within 24 hours of order delivery. As order volume increases, payment methods and schedules will be adjusted by Meals and More's operational policies.
  • Changes to the Commission Structure: Please note that the commission structure is subject to change at the discretion of Meals & More. We may adjust the commission rate or introduce new commission tiers based on various factors, including but not limited to market conditions, platform performance, and operational costs. You will be notified in advance of any changes to the commission structure.

7.Compliance with Local Laws

  • Meals & More is not responsible for ensuring that your meals are prepared in compliance with such laws but may remove any listings that violate local regulations.

  • As a chef, you are responsible for ensuring that your food preparations comply with all applicable health, safety, and business regulations in your jurisdiction.
  • Meals & More is not responsible for ensuring that your meals or operations comply with these laws and regulations. Meals & More's role is limited to providing a platform for you to offer your food; it does not constitute legal or regulatory advice. However, Meals & More reserves the right to remove any listings that violate local regulations.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold Meals & More harmless from any claims, fines, penalties, or legal actions arising out of your failure to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • It is your responsibility to stay informed of any changes to local laws and regulations that may affect your food preparation and sales. Meals & More is not obligated to notify you of such changes.

Part 3: Terms and Conditions for Deliveryman

1.    Registration and Profile Creation

  • To register as a delivery driver at Meals & More, you must be at least 18, legally authorized to work in Egypt, and possess any necessary permits or licenses required for delivery services.

  • As a delivery driver, you must create an account on Meals & More by providing accurate and detailed information, including your legal name, contact details, and vehicle information.
  • You are responsible for maintaining your account information and ensuring it remains up-to-date. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials (username and password) and all activities under your account.1 Notify Meals & More immediately of any unauthorized access.   
  • Meals & More reserves the right to verify the information you provide. You agree to provide any documentation reasonably requested by Meals & More, such as proof of identity or a driver's license.
  • Meals & More may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms, customer complaints, safety concerns, or inactivity.

2. Delivery Service Agreement

You agree to provide delivery services in a timely, efficient, and professional manner, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations, including traffic laws, licensing requirements, and food safety regulations.


3. Delivery Area and Hours

  • You will operate within the designated delivery area(s) specified by Meals & More. You are responsible for familiarizing yourself with these areas and regularly checking for any updates or changes. 

  • Your availability and delivery hours should be communicated clearly through the platform. In the event of unavailability during communicated hours, you must provide timely notification through the platform. You are expected to adhere to the communicated delivery hours and ensure timely order delivery. 
  • You are responsible for utilizing accurate navigation tools to ensure efficient and timely deliveries within the designated areas.


4. Order Acceptance and Delivery

  • You are responsible for promptly accepting or rejecting delivery requests assigned to you through the Meals & More platform. You must provide a valid reason for rejecting a delivery request.

  • Upon accepting a delivery request, you must proceed to the chef's location promptly and collect the order. You are responsible for verifying the order details with the chef before pickup.
  • You must deliver the order to the customer at the designated delivery address promptly and in the same condition it was received. You are responsible for handling the food with care and ensuring its safe transport. You must adhere to all hygiene standards and regulations during the handling and transportation of food.
  • You are responsible for maintaining clear and professional communication with the customer regarding any delivery updates or potential delays. You must immediately report any discrepancies or issues with the order to Meals & More through the application.
  • In the event of an undeliverable order, you must follow the procedures outlined by Meals & More for handling the order.
  •  In the event of a delay, you must notify the customer and Meals & More through the platform and give an updated estimated time of arrival.
  • You must confirm delivery with the customer upon arrival through the application's delivery confirmation feature.


5-. Payment and Compensation

  • You will be compensated for your delivery services according to the agreed-upon payment structure, which will detail the payment frequency and methods.

  • Meals & More reserves the right to adjust the payment structure at its discretion, based on factors such as market conditions, operational costs, or performance metrics. You will be notified of any changes with reasonable notice and a clear explanation.

6. Vehicle and Equipment

You are responsible for providing and maintaining a suitable delivery vehicle, which must be in good working condition and comply with all applicable traffic laws and regulations.

7. Customer Interactions and Disputes

  • You must handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and respectfully.

  • You must report any customer disputes or issues to Meals & More immediately.

 

8. Confidentiality

  • You must keep confidential any information you receive about customers or Meals & More's business operations, including but not limited to customer names, addresses, order details, financial information, and proprietary business strategies, both during and after the termination of your delivery services agreement.

  • You must take all reasonable precautions to protect the confidentiality of customers and Meals & More information, including securely storing and disposing of any documents or electronic data.
  • Any breach of confidentiality may result in legal action and/or termination of your delivery services agreement. 
  • The obligation of confidentiality does not apply to information that is publicly known or required to be disclosed by law.

9. Termination

  • Meals & More may terminate this agreement at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to, violations of these terms, customer complaints, or unsatisfactory performance.

  • Upon termination, you must immediately cease using the Meals & More platform and return any company-provided materials. 
  • Termination does not relieve either party of obligations accrued before termination, including payment for services rendered. A final settlement of accounts will be conducted upon termination, and any outstanding payments will be processed according to the agreed-upon payment schedule.
  • The confidentiality obligations outlined previously will survive the termination of this agreement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Meals & More harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your delivery services, including but not limited to, personal injury, property damage, traffic violations, or breaches of this agreement.



Part 4: General Terms and Conditions

1.    Compliance with Applicable Laws

  • All users (both consumers and chefs and deliverymen) must comply with the applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing the preparation, sale, and delivery of food within their jurisdictions.

  • Meals & More shall not be liable for any legal or regulatory violations that may occur due to the actions of users on the platform.

2.    Modification of Terms

  • Meals & More reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

  • It is your responsibility to regularly review the terms, and your continued use of the platform signifies your acceptance of any changes made to the terms.

3.    Account Suspension and Termination

  • Meals & More reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account (consumer chef or deliveryman) if the account holder is found to violate the platform’s terms and conditions, including issues related to fraud, misuse, or unethical behavior.

  •  In the event of repeated complaints against a chef, consumer, or deliveryman (such as poor service or unprofessional conduct), the platform may choose to suspend or permanently remove their account.

4.    Privacy and Data Protection

  • Meals & More takes your privacy seriously and will handle your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy, which is available on the platform.

  • By using the platform, you agree to the collection, use, and processing of your personal data as described in the privacy policy.


5.    Limitation of Liability

  • Meals & More is not liable for any damage or loss resulting from the use of the platform, including issues related to the quality of food or any other third-party issues beyond the platform’s control.

  • The platform acts only as an intermediary Marketplace to facilitate connections between consumers and chefs and does not directly manage the quality of food or services provided.
